Public Hunting Access

Access to Public Lands

Forty non-governmental agencies, including the NWTF, Congressional Sportsmen’s Foundation and the National Rifle Association, have joined forces to create the Association of Conservation Wildlife Partners (ACWP). The ACWP is working with the Bureau of Land Management, the U.S. Forest Service, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to increase access for hunting and shooting sports activities. Across the country, there are more than 50 million acres of Federal land that have inadequate access.

Learn how the NWTF and its partners are creating more opportunities for public hunting.
