Sponsor Spotlight Great Day PowerLoader Deer Cart

Great Day ATV PowerLoader
The quickest, easiest, safest way to load a deer onto an ATV

Straight off the showroom floor, an ATV, UTV or custom golf cart can take you over rough terrain, through mud and water. Add the PowerLoader from Great Day to it, you’ve got a hunter’s best friend.
Retrieve big game and haul it back to camp with a simple push of a button. The PowerLoader’s lifting mechanism extends and lays flat on the ground, allowing a deer to slide effortlessly into place. It fits most popular models of four wheelers, mounted to the front rack, and operates with the use of factory or after market winches (not included).
The PowerLoader is made of tough aircraft aluminum and adds only 29 pounds to the weight to the vehicle, yet it has an amazing 350-pound capacity.
It’s also useful for chores around the house or farm — load and transport firewood, tool boxes, ice chests, sacks of feed or seed, bales of hay, building materials, fenceposts. Your honey-do list just got longer.
One more cool thing: It’s made in the U.S.A.

Wheelin Sportsmen Dove Hunt

Long Creek Dove Hunt: Fun despite the rain

On Sept. 19, 15 hunters and 12 guests gathered at the Long Creek dove field on the Andrew Pickens Ranger District of Sumter National Forest in South Carolina. Despite the rain, everybody had a great time, and the participants were extremely appreciative of the opportunity to hunt.

Seventeen volunteers from the Mountain Lakes Chapter donated their time, a barbecue meal and items for a raffle. Other partners were the South Carolina Department of Natural Resources, the USDA Forest Service and Mark Cook with Wheelin’ Sportsmen.

“I want to recognize the Mountain Lakes Chapter for their contribution,” said Jeffrey Magniez, a biologist for Sumter National Forest. “Without their help, there would have been no Wheelin’ dove hunt.”
