Big event, little moments
The JAKES event hosted by the Flatlanders Chapter in Alma, Mich., was no different than other events across the country — smiling kids, proud parents, fun activities — except for the sheer number of children (exactly 641) in attendance. For the last nine years, Fred Woodcock and his team of more than 100 volunteers host hundreds of area families for a day outdoors. Check out photos from the event.
